Ted, Kim, Debra, Anne and
Valorie approach the Paradise Inn Lodge on Mt.
Rainier. The day trip was in tribute to Lola
Cowan.
|
|
Thomas grilled Debra, Kim
and Nickki with a series of complicated questions.
This one had everyone stumped. Either that, or Kim
and Debra were mocking Nickki about a cold sore on
her lower lip.

|
While on a nature hike
with Austin, Debra pauses to see if she can absorb
brain waves from Austin.

While exploring the sand
bars along the White River, Thomas discovers what he
thinks are bear or cougar tracks. They can't be
cougar tracks, because the claws are showing. Bob did
some research of animal tracks on the Internet and
discovered that they are probably the tracks made by
Kali the last time Thomas had a group at the cabin.
Cougar tracks, bear tracks... sheesh!

From this picture it's
hard to tell whether Kaylie is dancing to the latest
rock song or whether she is in the process of picking
a flower bouquet. It became apparent that her focus
was on the flowers.
|
|
You'd think Nickki was
caught in mid-sentence or had just tasted one of
Austin's daisys. In reality it was just a way of
hiding something on her lower lip.

Have you ever looked
though one of the "Find Waldo" books? Here, instead
of finding Waldo, can you spot Anne and Debra? This
is a photo of the crowd who attended the Endfest 10
concert at the Kitsap Fairgrounds near Bremerton
Washington.

We had an early birthday
party and picnic for Ted. Here Kalie helps Ted blow
out his birthday candles.
|
|
Ted enjoys his funny
birthday card.
|
|
Anne brings in some green
plums. She and Nickki love to eat them when they are
so tart that they make your mouth pucker and your
eyes water!
|
|
Paul and Rick make it
interesting for Kaylie while riding the bucking
hammock.
|
|
I'm sure Thomas was
trying to restrain the bucking hammock. On second
thought, looking at his face, it's clear he is the
source of the bucking hammock.
|
|
Paul shows us that he is
a "manly man" by being able to hold Kaylie with just
one arm.

|
While Anne was bouncing
on the trampoline, Sarah got the bright idea of
helping out from below. Unfortunately, the underside
of the trampoline was covered with black algae which
got on her hands. Did Thomas think it was funny? Yep,
and so did everyone else!
|
|
Here, in the middle of
the picnic, Sarah begins to explain some of the
physical differences between men and women.
|
|
Poor Tara. She can't
believe how crazy everyone gets when they get
together for a family picnic.
|
|
Thomas tries to beat the
Ripley's Believe It or Not record for height while
jumping on a trampoline.

Meet the newest edition
to Nickki's clan -- it's little "Sonny"!
|
|
Kaylie finds out that
even little Sonny has sharp claws!
