Ellen Nora Gallery (Nell or Nellie) was the 2nd child and only daughter of Patrick L. and Johanna "McGrath" Gallery. She was born 7 Dec. 1859 near Springfield, Mass and came west to Iowa with her parents in 1868 at the age of eight. She married Mike Hogan on April 29, 1884.
They lived across the road from the Edmond Gallery farm until 1904 and then moved to Kansas where they farmed near the town of Paola. She passed away on the night of July 1, 1926 of pneumonia.She was 66 years of age.
Michael Hogan was born 1854 in Ireland.
