More Ice Sculpture Photos - Year 2000

Green Blue Green Line
Every March Fairbanks is host to the "World Ice Art Championship" competition, sponsored by "Ice Alaska." Here are some photos I took of this year's sculptures. These were carved the first part of March 2000. I took these pictures on March 24, the day before they closed down the Ice park for the season. Some of the carvings were already being affected by the sun and warm air temeratures and were gone pretty quickly due to the warmer than usual weather.

There are 31 thumbnail images on this page, so it may be a little slow loading. Please be patient, as I think you will enjoy them! (SMILE)
