We spent the second week of our trip in Fresno and Clovis visiting my family. Don and I got out of the Fresno smog one day and drove up to Sequoia & King's Canyon National Parks. There was snow on the ground up there! (SMILE) We took a short hike in the General Grant Grove of giant Sequoia trees. I hadn't been there since I was about 12 years old. It was magnificent! On the way up we saw beautiful golden hills, covered with blooming wildflowers. It was a really nice little drive up to the Park.
