Our Little Angels in Heaven

Green Blue Green Line

The Smith family has suffered the loss of two precious babies. Marky Aldama, son of Carolyn Smith and Fred Aldama, was Bill and Maxine's first grandchild and a true joy to the entire family. We are all so thankful for the few weeks we had with him. Unfortunately, this sweet baby went to sleep one night and woke up in heaven. The cause of his death was SIDS or Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. This condition is still somewhat a mystery, although much research is being done.

Little Noah Ellis was diagnosed with Anencephaly, a neurological condition in which the brain and skull do not form correctly in the womb. Children born with this condition do not survive for very long. Noah lived about 6 hours. The cause is not fully understood, but they have recently found a connection to the mother having low levels of Folic Acid in her diet before and during the early months of pregnancy. Noah was the second son of Michelle Aldama and Jerry Ellis. Michelle is the daughter of Carolyn Smith and Fred Aldama. Noah was their second grandson.

We all miss these precious angels and look forward to seeing them again in heaven.
