I, Dennis
Hurley of the Twp of Asphodel, County of Peterborough, Farmer being weak
of body but sound of mind do hereby declare this to be my last will and
testament by which I give and bequeath my worldly goods as
follows.
I give and bequeath to my wife Johanna after my death the farm of which I am
now possessed - being the West half of Lot no. 15 in the 7th Conc. of the
Township of Asphodel together with the whole of my personal property with
stock, crop and everything that I possess during her natural life. After
her death, I will that my eldest son Michael have two acres of the S.W.
quarter of the said farm. I will that my two sons Timothy and Dennis
have the remainder of the farm equally divided between them. Whatever
stock and loose property remains on the farm at the death of my wife I give
her full liberty to dispose of it as she thinks best to the Boys or the Girls
and I hereby appoint my wife Johanna Hurley and Peter David Tailor of
the Township of Asphodel County of Peterboro as executors and administrators
of this my last will and testament to which I have this day put my hand and
seal this 27th day of Nov. in the year of our Lord, one thousand eighteen
hundred and fifty.

said will is witnessed by Walter Scot of the Twp of Asphodel in the Co. of
Peterboro and Robt Scott, Thom Myles both of the said Twp and this memorial is
hereby required to be registered by me.
