Jan. 2FriAll members of the family and guests at the home of William Dwyre's for a social card party. None of our boys attended.
Jan. 4SunSaw Jim Reilly about business agency, will serve as agent. Beno and Kit went home today. Jim, with our team and sled, drove them top Batavia.
Jan. 8ThurDan Slattery's body came from St. Louis, Missouri. Wake at Ed Slattery's tonight.
Jan. 9FriDan Slattery buried at St. Michael's. He held the position of City Treasurer. A Requiem High Mass by Father Regan. A large funeral, 60 teams in line.
Feb. 25WedMrs. Michael Gaynor was buried today in Mitchell cemetery. Reverend Regan had the mass.
Mar. 28SunMaple syrup for supper. It was fine. Mona at Kit's in Batavia.
Apr. 2FriThere was a wild snow storm all day, cold and mean April snow storm. Snowed about 2 inches.
Apr. 5MonA big auction at Ed Slattery's, things sold at high prices, cows sold as high as $172.50.
