Jan. 8 | Thur | Dan Slattery's body came from St. Louis, Missouri. Wake at Ed Slattery's tonight. |
Jan. 9 | Fri | Dan Slattery buried at St. Michael's. He held the position of City Treasurer. A Requiem High Mass by Father Regan. A large funeral, 60 teams in line. |
Feb. 25 | Wed | Mrs. Michael Gaynor was buried today in Mitchell cemetery. Reverend Regan had the mass. |
Mar. 28 | Sun | Maple syrup for supper. It was fine. Mona at Kit's in Batavia. |
Apr. 2 | Fri | There was a wild snow storm all day, cold and mean April snow storm. Snowed about 2 inches. |
Apr. 5 | Mon | A big auction at Ed Slattery's, things sold at high prices, cows sold as high as $172.50. |
