Aug. 10 | Fri | Mona went to Sherman via Plymouth and got there to attend grandmothers funeral, who was buried today. |
Aug. 15 | Wed | The grand Festival and Picnic at Mitchell. The whole family attended. Everything moved fine till the Osceola rascals commenced a disturbance which disturbed the whole meeting. Sold a lot of stuff and took in a good deal of money. Miles Gallagher's team ran away and running home from picnic, tipped over the buggy and broke his arm and demoralized the whole family. |
