Grandpa Sandy Combs and Prince. Billy and I rode on a wooden flat bed sled and picked up rocks out of the field behind Prince.

The original photo that includes a man named "Corbin Leonard". There is also a white dog to the left.
Anyone have any idea who "Corbin Leonard" was? I date this photo sometime around the late 1930's

Lucille knows who Corbin Leonard was. He was Dolly Lowe's son, by her first marrige.She thinks Dolly was Earl Lowe's Aunt. Earl Lowe's mother and Dolly were sisters. They were both Rippies'. Dolly later married Logan Lowe.

That's right. He and my father were good friends. He came to Md. and got a job and he got my dad one on a farm. Dad use to go over to the farm he was living on and spend the week-end.

Photo was made in the later part of the 1920's. I wonder if the building behind Grandma is the old corn crib and if the house is the old homeplace at Frog Spur?
