Mr. Adolph WITTSTOCK and Miss Augusta FISHER affadavit having been filed in this office, as provided by Public Act No 128, Laws of 1887, as amended, by which it appears that said, Adolph WITTSTOCK is 26 years of age, color is white, residence is Lapeer, and birthplace was Michigan, occupation is farming. Father's name Ernest WITTSTOCK and Mother's maiden name was Tillie WIER, has been previously married no times; and that said Augusta FISHER is 28 years of age, color is white, residence is Lapeer and birthplace was Germany, occupation is at home. Father's name Chas. FISHER and Mother's maiden name was Helen DOEBLER, and who has been married no times, and whose maiden name was {blank}, and whose {blank} consent, in case she has not attained the age of eighteen years, has been filed in my office.

BLOOD b. 21 Jan 1900 and Irvin James {Clide?} BLOOD b. 30 Jan 1902. All born in Osceola Co., MI. Grace died at her home, Walton Rd Vassar MI., 5 May 1923. Buried at Mt. Morris, Genesee Co., MI. with Jay B. MARTIN.

Note: Harold Charles SHERWOOD was known by friends and relatives as Charley SHERWOOD. He and Iva made their home in Vassar, Michigan until their death. Ina M. {Phillips} SHERWOOD born Aug. 3, 1891 in Laporte, Midland Co., MI. and died Feb. 6, 1952 in Saginaw, MI. She is buried in Riverside Cemetery in Vassar, MI. Harold C. SHERWOOD {Charley} born Sept. 15, 1888 in East Lemon, Wyoming Co., Pa. and died Jan. 25, 1976 in Bay City, MI. and is buried in Riverside Cemetery in Vassar, MI. Harold Charles and Iva had three daughters, Ina R. {Alfred} METRAS, Ethel O. {Leroy} BLACKER, and Charlene M. {Donald} Pierce.

Note: Roy L. NEWSOME was really LeRoy Dale NEWSOME. Unsure of why he used Roy L. on marriage certificate. Medea HEWITT was his sister and her husband was George HEWITT. If you research the NEWSOME or CORNISH families I would like to compare information with you.
