That the petitioner is a minor child about the age of fourteen years of William Procious of said County - that has no person legally appointed or authorized to take care of his person and Estate and he prays the Court that he may be permitted to make choice of a suitable person for that purpose and he will ever pray the Court.

The Petition of Henry Procious and Catherine Procious minor children of William Procious of Armstrong County by their father William Procious respectfully represents that the petitioners are about age fourteen years and have no person legally appointed or authorized to take charge of their person and Estate and they therefore pray the Court to appoint some suitable person for that purpose and they will ever pray the Court.

The Petition of Elizabeth Procious of Armstrong County respectfully showeth that the petitioner is a minor child of William Procious about the age of fourteen that has no person legally appointed or authorized to take charge of her person and Estate and she therefore prays the Court that she may be permitted to make choice of a suitable person for that purpose and she will ever pray the Court.

And now to wit the 10 September 1863 William Procious chosen and appointed Gaurdian Bond to be given one hundred dollars as to all the minors named on the written petition and William McMillen and Samuel Cathcart approved of as written in said Bond.

Know all Men by these Presents

That We, William Procious Wm McMillen and Samuel Cathcart are held firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in the sum of One Hundred Dollars to be paid to said Commonwealth: to which payment well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves jointly and serverally for and in whole, our heirs, executors, and administrators, firmly by these presents.

Sealed with our seals, dated the tenth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty three.

The Condition Of This Obligation Is,

That if the above bounded William Procious Guardian of Henry Procious, Catherine Procious, Adam Procious and Elizabeth Procious, minor children of Polly Procious late of Mahoning Township deceased, shall, at least once in every three years, and at any other time when required by the Orphan's Court of Amstrong, render a just and true account of the management of the property and estate of the minor under his care, and shall also deliever up said property, agreebly to the order and decree of the said Court; or the directions of law, and shall in all respects faithfully perform the duties of guardian of the said minors

then the obligation shall be void, otherwise it shall be remain in full force and virtue.

That she is a minor the age of 14 years and has no legally authorized person to take charge of her person and Estate and prays the Court that she may be permitted to make choice of a suitable person for that purpose and she will every pray the Court.
