In the Name of God Amen I Sarah Irish of Newport in the County of Newport and State of Rhode Island &c. Widow of Colonel George Irish deceased, being sick and weak as to bodily health, but of a sound disposing mind and memory, do now while I have my reason and understanding not Knowing how soon I may be deprived thereof being advanced in years and Knowing that it is appointed for all once to die, make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament and in manner and form following.

Principally and first of all I Give and recommend my Soul into the hands of that God who gave it, and my Body I commit to the dust from whence it was taken to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executor herein after named, and as touching such worldly Estate that I may leave at my decease, I Give and dispose of as follows to Wit.

Imprimis My Mind and Will is all my just Debts and funeral expences be well and truly paid in some convenient time after my decease by my Executor herein after named out of the Debts due me from the Estate of my late Son John Irish deceased, and my Son Joseph Irish and what Wood(?) and Provisions may be left at my decease

Item I Give and Bequeath unto my Daughter Martha Irish the Balance of the Debts due me from the Estate of my said Son John Irish deceased, and my Son the said Joseph Irish, also four Silver Table spoons and six Silver Tea Spoons, One Chest standing in the Bed Room, One looking glass, all the Chairs & Tables Candlesticks and all the Kitchen furniture and Cooking Utensils, Also all my Wearing Apparel (excepting One Black Silk Gown)

Item I Give and Bequeath unto my Daughter Phebe Almy Wife of Samuel Almy One blue Chest and one White Spread

Item I Give and Bequeath unto my Grand Daughter Phebe Irish Daughter of Martha Irish One Bed, Bedstead and all the residue of Bedding not herein in this my last Will Testament given away also One high Case of Drawers, one Chest, one pair of Brass hand Irons Shovel Tongs and Bellows

Item I Give and Bequeath unto my Grand Daughter Sally Devens(?) my best Bed Bedstead and Bedding belonging to it, and my Warming Pan

Item I Give and Bequeath unto my Grand Daughter Sally Almy One Flock Bed

Item I Give and Bequeath unto my Grand Daughter Polly Spencer Wife of Abial Spencer, my Blk Silk Gown

Item I Give and Bequeath unto my Grand Daughter Patience Crandall One Dollar

Item I Give and Bequeath unto my Grand Daughter Sarah Ann Bailey One Dollar

Item I give and Bequeath unto my Grand Daughter Sally Irish Daughter of my late Son John Irish deceased, One Silver Table Spoon

Item I Give and Bequeath unto my Grand  Daughter Betsey Irish One Dollar

Item I Give & Bequeath unto my Grandson Henry T. Irish son of my late Son John Irish decd. my Large Bible

Lastly I hereby Nominate Constitute and appoint my Son George Irish to be sole Executor of this my last Will & Testament hereby revoking all other or former Wills by me at any time heretofore made establishing this to be my last Will and Testament

In Confirmation whereof I have here unto set my hand and seal this sixth day of February AD. Eighteen hundred and sixteen
