Welcome to the Descendants Page for John Cary. John was born in England and sent away to France to go to school. His mother was already deceased and when he returned from France, he found his father had also passed on. He did not receive a warm welcome, for his brothers wanted all the family wealth for themselves, and in his absence had disowned their brother, John and had his name wiped from all the family records. He made an agreement with them that he would not take them to court in exchange for 100 lbs and passage to New England. He, therefore, made a new start in Plymouth, Massachusetts.
