Both Andrew and Kirstiina were born in Finland and came to America in the early 1900's. They were married in Duluth, Minnesota on 2/24/1908. They lived their early years of marraige on the Lyly Homestead in Wawina. They came to the west coast (40's?) to join their children who had moved out to California's coastal Redwoods in the mid 1930's. They had four children together. Aili, Hulda, Irene and my granfather Arvo.
Andrew Died in Fort Bragg, CA 1968 and Kristiina in 1975.
The picture below is their 50th wedding anniversary. In fact they were married over 60 Years.
