Letter from Grandmother Lumsden

Written on March 17,
the night before Grandfather Lumsden died,
Grandma Lumsden was nursing him through the flu.

It had been discovered by the doctor
that he had heart trouble,
and he was having trouble breathing.
She "camped out" all night in the dining room
so as to give him his medicine every three hours.
