William b. Neely 70 years of age residing at F.D.R. No. 1
Montreal, Co of Camden, state of Missouri declares that
he enrolled ar Linn Creek, MO on the 20th of February in 1862
as a Private in Company G., 8th Regiment M.S. Cav. Vols in
Civil War. Was given honorable discharge at Springfield Mo
on the 13th day of April, 1865. He also served in Company
(I or J) Osage Co Regmnt MO Home Guards for about 6 months.
He was listed as being 5' 71/2 " with hazel eyes ,
dark complexion dark hair. He was a famer living in Camden Co
from date of discharge. He was a Pensioner under certificate #625589.
This information was sworn to Notary Public James M. Fowler.
Witnessed by friends of 25 years. Medical information taken
from declaration for invalid pension. Act of June 27, 1890.
