Obituary

Mobile Register (ALABAMA), May 4, 2003, Hilman Cecil Shockey, a native of Bastrop, La., and a resident of Tillman's Corner, died Friday at his home. He was 66.

Shockey attended Calvary Assembly of God Church and was a retired security guard for Eagles Security Co.

Survivors include one son, Monty Shockey of Bastrop; one daughter, Melanie Shockey Lawrence of Nolensville, Tenn.; and five grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 tonight at Serenity Funeral Home on Old Pascagoula Road in Mobile. A graveside service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday in Mer Rouge Cemetery in Louisiana.
