Obituary

Fort Pierce, Betty H. Shockey, 75, died Nov. 8, 2003.

She was born in Ashland, Ky., and was a resident of Fort Pierce for seven years, coming from Ashland.

Prior to retirement, Mrs. Shockey was a location coordinator in the personnel department for Ashland Oil of Kentucky, where she was employed for 40 years.

She attended Southside Christian Church, Fort Pierce.

Survivors include her husband of 39 years, O.W. Shockey; stepdaughter Dana Sue Guiler of St. Petersburg; and brother Earl D. Hoke of Valrico.

A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Friday at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce. Arrangements are by Yates Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
