DANIEL DALE MEYER
2002 - 2003


Daniel Dale Meyer, 1 1/2 years old, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 6, 2003.

Daniel was born January 16th, 2002 in Pensacola. Daniel's love and joy filled everyone's life that he came in contact with.

He is survived by his loving parents, Steve and Melissa Meyer; best friend and loving brother, Jacob Cale Meyer; loving caregivers and grandparents, Charlie and Sharon Collins and Ival and Advin Meyer; great- grandmother, Wanda Shockey; uncles and aunts, Arelene Mazurek, Mike Collins, Jessie and Cathy Parazine, John Purcell, Debbie Meyer, Ival Jr. and Denese Meyer; cousins, Kayla and Josh Parazine, Tyler Collins, Britnie Reid, Melissa Sue Meyer, Kasey and Brandy Goodrich, David and Cam Mazurek, Glenda Mazurek and Jordan and Caroline Elliott.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 10, 2003 at Faith Chapel North, Hwy 29 South, Cantonment, with the Rev. Brian Schmelzehbach officiating.

Interment will follow in Whitmire Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Ival Meyer Jr., John Purcell, David Mazurek and Mike Collins.

Honorary pallbearers will be James Perry, David Williamson, Kasey Goodrich, Acie Perry, Donnie Taylor, Jessie Parazine and Jeff Payne.

FAITH CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME NORTH, 1000 Hwy 29 S, Cantonment, is in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

The family would like to express their sincere "Thanks & Appreciation" to the many doctors, nurses and staff at Sacred heart NICU & PICU for their devoted efforts, doctors, Carol Andrews, Marcus Schmitz, Paul Grabb (UAB), Tracey Welhelm (Daniel's second mom), therapists, Jenny, Jennifer, Julie and Keena, Tina Santiago (developmental teacher), Mary Martin (DEI Coordinator) and the Pearl Nelson Center.

While flowers are appreciated, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made in memory of Daniel to the Hydrocephalus Association, 870 Market St., Suite 705, San Francisco, CA 94102.
