Obituary

James Harrison Ratliff, age 82 of Dover Hollow Road, Moorefield, WV passed away Wednesday evening, November 26, 2003 at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born October 7, 1921 in Hardy County, WV he was a son of the late William J. & Mary B. (Fitzwater) Ratliff. He was a member of the Walnut Grove Church of the Brethren, route 55 East of Moorefield. Three brothers and sisters preceded him in death.

Surviving is his wife, Evelyn (Shockey) Ratliff; two sons, Allen Ratliff of Burlington, WV and Gary Ratliff of Moorefield, WV; a sister, Ethel Cullers of Moorefield, WV; six grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, November 30, 2003 at the Walnut Grove Church of the Brethren with Pastor Don Knotts officiating. Interment followed at the Olivet Cemetery.
