Jamie's great-grandfather Christian Fox was s/o Christian Fox (abt 1839-bef 1910) and
Elizabeth J <Unknown> (1837-aft 1910), both German-born.

The family immigrated to America from Germany about 1871. Christian, Jr. was one of ten children and was born in 1882 in Pennsylvania. He married Olga Kauffman, a recent German immigrant, in 1903 in Pennsylvania. They had two children:
Emma Fox (12 Aug 1904-7 Jan 1995)
Christian Wallace Fox (19 Jan 1906-abt Jun 1985)
In 1910, Christian was working as a chemist and he and his family were living at 1736 Front Street in,Philadelphia. His widowed mother and older brother William were living in his house also.By 1920, he is doing other work and his daughter and wife were working as hat makers, while his son completed his schooling.
