Gabriel and Rebecca Stead are buried here. The cemetery has long since grown over, but a kind family whose property borders the cemetery provided photographs of the Stead headstones.

Grove Street Cemetery, West Haven, Connecticut
The Grove Street Cemetery (officially the New Haven Burying Ground) was incorporated as the New Burying Ground in 1796. It has served as a centerpiece in the town of New Haven due to it's unique historic significance." Abigail Cooper is recorded as buried here.

Harpers' Cemetery, Jefferson County, West Virginia
Because I rely heavily on volunteers who share their time and research, I partially transcribed the tombstone inscriptions in Harpers' Cemetery in Harpers Ferry National Historic Park. (I moved away in 2005 and will not be able to complete the survey)

Hollywood Cemetery, Richmond, Virginia
According to a handout from the Library of Virginia "Hollywood Cemetery was formally dedicated June 25, 1849.  Designed by architect and landscape designer John Notman, Hollywood was modeled after the rural cemeteries popular during the mid 19th century.  In addition to providing a place for burials, these cemeteries were designed for the living to enjoy a natural, park-like setting.  More than 18,000 Civil War soldiers and officers were buried there, solidifying Hollywood's place of importance in the hearts of Virginians." Some of our Virginia ancestors are reportedly buried in this cemetery.

Old Burying Ground and Hillside Cemetery, Townsend, Middlesex County, Massachusetts
Before migrating to New Haven County Connecticut, my grandmother's family lived and died in Townsend. In October 2002, I visited and located the graves of my great-great-great-grandfather Benjamin Wallace and great-great-great-grandmother Elizabeth Wallace, nee Eastman, and those of Benjamin's parents, Benjamin Wallace and Susan Wallace, nee Spaulding.

Pine Grove Cemetery, New Haven County, Connecticut
The Bowen and Selby families are all buried here.

Willow Mount Cemetery, Shelbyville, Bedford County, Tennessee
Approximately one hundred acres now, Willow Mount was established in the mid-1840s in Shelbyville "when the old city cemetery was reaching capacity. The first recorded burial was Frances, infant daughter of James and Catharine M. Wortham, who died October 19, 1844." ( 2000, City of Shelbyville and ImageSouth Media)
My great-grandparents Joe and Mary Adelaide Pressgrove (nee Thompson) are buried there in section R with a double headstone:

Joe Pressgrove Dec 27, 1867- March 12, 1939
&
Mary A. Pressgrove Mar 19, 1878 -- Mar 18, 1961
