This section is devoted to the
exchange of information pertaining to our EDDY ancestors.
If you would like to post an inquiry to our EDDY family
genealogists, please send them to me at the address
below, putting EDDY FAMILY INQUIRIES in the subject line,
and we will make arrangements for your information to
appear in this section.
All inquiries and responses will be posted on this site
for the benefit of any other EDDY researchers who might
be searching for the same information.
We would appreciate your following the format below, as
much as possible, when requesting a search:
1. Please be specific with regard to the information you
are seeking.
2. Give geographical locations as well as a range of
dates
within which the information you seeking would fall.
3. Provide any information you feel might assist our
EDDY Family genealogists in answering your query,
but please be as brief and concise as possible.
An excellent guideline to posting a genealogical query
is one borrowed from the field of Journalism....
WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, and HOW
Remember to include the five basic items:
WHO (complete name),
WHAT (are you seeking?),
WHEN (did these folks live?),
WHERE (did these folks live?) and
HOW (can we reach you?).
If you have EDDY (or related families) information and
would be willing to volunteer to do look-ups for others
who are researching the EDDY (or related families)
surnames, please let me know. We would gratefully welcome
your help.
In addition, if you have not yet joined the EDDY-L e-mail
mailing list, we hope you will consider doing so. You can
get information on subscribing by visiting the MAILING
LIST page on the site navigation bar.
Lastly, if you have any suggestions on how we might make
this web site more helpful to all of us who are searching
for our EDDY ancestors, we would appreciate your input.
