This Indenture made the 2nd day of April A.D. one thousand eight hundred and fifty.

Between wife Mary Doverspike, John Doverspike and Lydia his wife, David Doverspike, Gabriel Miller and Katherine his wife, formerly Katherine Doverspike, Peter Doverspike, Philip Doverspike and Priscilla his wife, William Doverspike and Lydia his wife, Henry Swonger and Elizabeth his wife, formerly Elizabeth Doverspike. Signed heirs and Legal Represenatives of Lewis Doverspike Sr. (deceased) of Redbank Clarion County of one part and Lewis Doverspike Jr of Redbank Township of the other part.

Witnesseth:

That the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum six hundred and fifty Dollars lawful money of the United States of America, to them in hand paid by said Lewis Doverspike at or before the sealing an delivery of these presents, the receipts, of which is hereby acknowledged, Have granted, bargained, sold aliened, enfeoffed, released, and confirmed, and confirmed and by these presents Do grant, bargain, sell alien, enfeoff, release, convey and confirm unto the said Lewis Doverspike Jr.

All that certain piece of land situated in Red Bank Township Pennsylvania.

Bounded and described as follows viz:

Beginning at a white Oak tree by land of Tud. Mohney, north twenty nine percels to a post on Red Bank Creek, thence by said creek north seventy four degees east fifty one and a half percels, thence north eighty three degrees east seven percels, thence south sixty one degrees east fourteen percels, thence south twenty three degrees east nineteen percels, thence west one percel, thence south nineteen degrees east fourty percels by land of Jacob Shankle, thence north fourty nine degrees east two percels, thence by land of Mary Doverspike, south fourty five percels to a post, thence by lands of Fredrick Mohney, west one hundred and thirty three percels to the place of the beginning.

Containing sixty nine acres and sixty six percels, being part of a large tract of conveyed H. J. Hidekoper Attoney on the Holland Land Company to Lewis Doverspike Sr. (now deceased).

By deed dated the 5th day of October 1811 Recorded in Armstrong County in Office for Recording Deeds in Book Vol. 0. Page 216.

Together with all appurtenances, right, priviledge, members.

To Have And To Hold the said piece of ground containing sixty nine acres and sixty six percels, to the said Lewis Doverspike Jr. and his heirs and asigns Forever.

And they the said parties of the first part do covenant, grant and agree to and with said Lewis Doverspike Jr. his heirs and asign against all and everyother person or persons whosoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same by from though or under them,

Shall And Will Warrant And Forever Defend.

In Witness Wherof the said parties of the first part have hereunto set their hand and seals the day and year first above written.

Before me a Justic of the Peace in and for the County aforesaid personally came the above named.

Wife Mary Doverspike, John Doverspike, and Lydia his wife, David Doverspike, Gabrial Miller and Katharine his wife, William Doverspike and Lydia his wife, Henry Swonger and Elizabeth his wife, and Peter Doverspike and acknowledged the above Indenture to be their act and deed and desires, the same should be recorded as such.

They the said Lydia, Catharine, Priscilla, Lydia, and Elizabeth, being of full age and by me examined seperate and apart from their said husbands, and the contents being first made fully know to them, declares that they did of their own free will and accord.

Signed, Sealed and as their act and deed deliver the same without any coercion or compulsion of their said husbands.
