This Indenture made the eighth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

Between J. W. Doverspike and Mariah Doverspike his wife of the Township of Red Bank of Armstrong County State of Pennsylvania, parties of the first part and C. A. Gruver of the same place party of the second part.

Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of twenty five ($25.00) Dollars lawful money of the United States of America, unto them well and truly paid by said party of the second part, and before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipts, whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained, sold aliened, enfeoffed, released, conveyed and confirmed, and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell alien, enfeoff, release, convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns.

All that certain parcel or tract of situated in the Township of Red Bank County of Armstrong State of Pennsylvania.

Bounded and described as follows.

Beginning at a post corner on public road leading from New Salem to Dayton Pennsylvania, east along lands of Henry Reddinger, 100 feet to a post corner, thence along lands of C. A. Gruver in a southwesterly course 112 feet to a post corner on public road, thence along triangular tract of land containing 1/16 acres more or less.

And tract No. 21 situated in said Township County and State.

Bounded and described as follows:

Beginning at a reservoir along lands of Henry Reddingers, south along other lands of C. A. Gruver 3/20 feet to a post corner, thence along lands of Mary Hilliard east 13 feet to a post corner and lands of J. W. Doverspike, thence along lands of said J. W. Doverspike 320 feet to above mentioned reservoir 32 feet to the beginning, containing 1/16 acre more or less being part of the farm know as the J. W. Doverspike farm.

Together with all and sigular the said property improvements, ways, water courses, rights, liberties, priviledges, hereditaments and appurtenances, whatsoever thereunto belonging, or in anywise appertaining and revisions and remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof, and also all estate rights title, interest property, claim and demand whatsoever of the said parties of the first part, in law, equity or otherwise however, of, in and to the same and every part thereof,

To Have And To Hold said tract of lands hereditaments and premises hereby granted or mentioned, and intented so to be, with the appurtenance, unto said party of the second part his, heirs and assigns, to and for the only proper use behoof of said party of the second part his heirs Forever.

They the said parties of the first part, for themselfs their heirs, executors and administrators, do by these presents, convenant, grant agree to and with the said part of second part, his heirs and assigns, that they, the said parties of the first part, and their heirs, all and singular, the hereditiments and promises herein above described and granted or mentioned, and intented so to be, with appurtenances, unto said party of the second part his heirs and assigns, against them, the said parties of the first part, and their heirs, and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming, or to claim the same or any part thereof.

Shall And Will Warrant And Forever Defend.

In Witness Whereof. The said parties of the first part have to these presents set their hands and seals. Dated the day and year first above written.
