John W. Doverspike and Wife

This Indenture made the ninth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and nine (1909)

Between J. W. Doverspike and Annie M. Doverspike his wife of the Borough Hawthorn in the County of Clarion and State of Pennsylvania party of the first part and G. W. Himes of Red Bank Township Armstrong County and State of Pennsylvania aforesaid party of the second part.

Witnesseth:

The said party us of the first part, for in consideration of the sum of two hundred and seventy five Dollars lawful money of the United States of America, well and truly paid by the said party of the second part, to the said party of the first part and before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt wereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released, conveyed and confirm, unto the said party of the second part, their heirs and assign.

All that certain piece of parcel of land situated in the Township of Red Bank in the County of Armstrong and State of Pennsylvania.

Bounded and described as follows to wit.

Beginning at a stone corner and land of G. W. Himes, thence along said land M. 85 30 W. thirty-six and ninety-one hundreths rods to a post, thence M. 38-15 W. 8 40/100 rods to a post, thence M. 50" 15" E. 20 30/100 Rods in the center in public road, thence M. 41" 30 E. 11 20/100 to center of public road. thence M. 20. E. 8 20/100 rods to center of public road, thence S. 81" 45" E. 25 30/100 rods to a post on land of E. Kunselman thences, 20" 45" W. 4 60/100 rods to a point in public road, thence S. 53" W. 11 50/100 to an Wild Cherry tree and land of J. W. Doverspike, thence S. 15"45 W. 1 50/10 to a Apple tree, thence 39" 20/100 rods to a post or land of said first part, thence S. 8" 30" W. 20 10/100 rods to the place of beginning.

Containing 14. 96/100 acers.

Excepting and conveying however, the one acre and fourteen rods, in the forth part in the G. W. Himes land to J. W. Doverspike. his heirs and assigns.

Containing less 1 14/100 acres and eighty-two rods.

It being part of the same which Philip Doverspike and Louisa A. Doverspike his wife, by Indenture bearing date the 30 day of January A. D. 1889 for the consideration therein mentined did grant and confirm to the said J. W. Doverspike (four hereto) his heirs and asigned forever as in and this said in part recited Indenture.

This Indenture not being as yet recorded. relation being thereunto had more fully and at large discribed.

Together with all and singular the build and improvements, ways, woods, rights liberties, hereditaments, and appurtenances to the same thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaning, and reversions and remainders, rents, issues, and profits therof and all estate, rights title interest, claims, and demands, whatsover of the said parties of the first part, of, in and to thereof.

To Have And To Hol the premises with all the sigulars with appurtenances, unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assings, to and for the only proper use, and behoof of the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns Forever.

And the said parties of the first part and their heirs, executors and administrators, do by these presents convenant, grant agree, to with the said party of the second part, his heirs and asign forever that they te said parties of the first part and their heirs, all and sigular the hereditaments and premises herein above described and granted or mentioned,and intented so to be, with appurtenances, unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, against theem the said parties of the first part, and their heirs, and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever lawfuly claiming the same, or any part thereof.

Shall And Will Warrant And Forever Defend.

In Witness Whereof, the said parties of the first part have to these present set their hands and and seals.

Recieved the day of the date of the above Indenture of the above-named G. W. Himes the sum of two hundred and twenty five Dollars, consideration money above mentioned in full.

On the ninth day of August A. D. 1911, before me H. C. Sherry the Juctic of the Peace in and for said County, personally came the above-named J. W. Doverspike and Annie M. Doverspike his wife who in due form of law acknowledge the forgoing Indenture to be their act and deed, and desire that the same might be recorded as such.
