This Indenture made the twentieth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety nine.

Between J. W. Doverspike and wife Catherine Doverspike Philip Doverspike and wife Louisa Doverspike all of Armstrong County Pennsylvania.

Parties of the first part and Harvey Shick of the County and State aforesaid party of the second part.

Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part for consideration of the sum of one hundred and twenty six Dollars and fifty cents, lawful money of the United States of America unto them well and truly paid by the said party of the second part at and before the sealing and delivery of these present.

The receipt whereof is hereby acknowledge have granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released, conveyed, and confirmed, and by these presents doth grant bargain sell alien enfeoff, release convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assign.

All that certain parcel of land situated and being in the Township of Red Bank County of Armstrong and State of Pennsylvania.

Bounded and described as follows to wit.

Beginning at a corner of lands of Samuel Gruver, thence along a public road leading from Pierce to Phornix south 10 percles to a post at a thence along lands of J. W. Doverspike one of the first parties of this Indenture each 34 5/16 percels to a post, thence along land of same party north 24 percels to a post thence along lands of Peter Hoch and Samuel Gruver west 43 percels to the place of the beginning.

Containing four acers more or less being part of a large tract of land conveyed by Indenture dated January 11 A. D. 1878 from Peter Behem and wife to Philip Doverspike and recorded in the office for Recording of Deeds in Armstrong County Pennsylvania. Feb 13th 1878.

Same was conveyed by Indenture dated the ninth day of December A. D. 1890 from Philip Doverspike and wife Louisa Doverspike in a Joint Deed with several other tract to J. W. Doverspike the precent grantor, the parties of the first part having therein record of the one third of the income of said premise the same being recorded in the office for Recording of Deeds in Armstrong County Pa, in Book Vol. 65 page 293 December 15th A. D. 1893 as by reference thereto will more fully and and at large appear.

Together with all sigulars the said property, improvements, ways, water courses, rights, liberties, priviledges, hereditaments and appurtenances, whatsoever thereunto belonging, or in anywise appertaining and revisions and remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof, and also all estate rights title, interest property, claim and demand whatsoever of the said parties of the first part, in law, equity or otherwise however, of, in and to the same and every part thereof,

To Have And To Hold said with the hereditaments and premises hereby granted or mentioned, and intented so to be, with the appurtenance, unto said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns to and for the only proper use and behoof of said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns Forever.

And the said parties of the first part, for themselfs their heirs, executors and administrators, do by these presents, convenant, grant agree to and with the said part of second part, his heirs and assigns, that they, the said parties of the first part, and their heirs, all and singular, the hereditaments and promises herein above described and granted or mentioned, and intented so to be, with appurtenances, unto said party of the second part his heirs and assigns, against them, the said parties of the first part, and their heirs, and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming, or to claim the same or any part thereof.

On the twentieth day of March Anno Domini 1889 before me the subscribed Justice of the Peace came the above named Catharine Doverspike and Louisa Doverspike who in due form of law wife and acknowledge the above Indenture to be their act and deed, and desire that the same might be recorded as such.

Said Catharine Doverspike and Lousia Doverspike being of full age, and by me examined, seperate and apart from their said husbands, and the content of said Indenture being first made know to them declared that they did of their own free will and accord signed, sealed and delivered the same without coertion or compulsion of their said husbands.
