Between Philip Doverspike and Lousia A. his wife of Red Bank Township Armstrong County and State of Pennsylvania of the first part, and John W. Doverspike of the same place of the second part.

Witnesseth.

That the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of five Dollars lawful money of the United States of America unto these well and truly paid by the said party of the second part at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipts where of is hereby acknowledged.

And the further sum of one thousand dollars lawful money of the United States of America to be well and truly paid by the party of the second part as and agreed upon in a certain Ariticle of Agreement in writing hand and seals, of the parties of the first part second part, dated the 26 th day of December A. D. 1888, and for other covenents and agreements contained the same is hereis reserved until fully complied with.

See that certain parcel or tract of Land situated and being in Red Bank Township Armstrong County and State of Pennsylvania.

Bounded and as as follows to wit.

Beginning at the stone corner, thence by lands of Freemont Minick and land of George Shaffer. south eighty nine (89) degrees and fifty six (56) minutes west one hundred and sixty three and three tenth ( 163 3/10) parcels to a stone, thence by land of Samuel Copenhaver north (30) minutes west east seventeen and five tenth (17 5/10) parcels to stone, thence west thirthy six (36) degrees and thirty (30) minutes, north eight and fourty two hundred ( 8 42/ 100) parcels to a point in road leading to Charleston, thence along said road, thence north 37 and (45) minutes East fourteen (14) parcels to a point in road. thence north (17) degrees and (30) minutes east nineteen and eighty seven one hundred (1987/100) parcels to a stone, thence north (33) and (30) minutes east sixteen and nine tenth (16 9/10) parcels to a point in road, thence north (29) degrees and (30) minutes east twenty five and fourty five hundred (25 45/100) parcels to a point in road, thence by lot of Louisa Doverspike north (85) degrees (45) minutes east twenty three and thirty three one hundreth (23 33/100) parcels to a stone, thence north nine degrees west eighteen and sixty six one hundreth (18 66/100) parcels to a stone, thence by land of George Kunselman and land of Peter Hoch north (85) degrees and (39) minutes east seventy one and eight tenth (71 8/10) parcels to a stone, thence by land of John Shick south fifty eight (58) degrees east fifty one and five tenth (51 5/10) parcels to a stone, thence south forty five (45) minutes west thirty two and forty two one hundred (42 42/100) parcels to a stone, thence south (89) degrees east twenty three and forty five one hundreth (23 45/100) parcels to a stone, thence by land of Freemont Minick sixty five and eighty seven one hundreth (65 87/100) parcels to the place of beginning.

Containing one hundred and twenty acers and twenty eight sixteeth parcels of land.

The same being parts of contained in four different deeds as follows.

From Samuel Copenhaver and his wife deed dated December 20, 1875 recorded April 3 1876.

Deed from Peter Behm and wife dated January 11 1878, recorded in the Office for Recording of Deeds in Armstrong County Pennsylvania.

Deed from Samuel Shick and wife dated February 28 1878 recorded in the Office for Recording Deeds in said County December 6 1881.

Deeds from Peter Hoch and wife dated October 10, 1879 recorded in the Office for Recording of Deeds in said County on December 10 1881 as will more fully be revealed.

Together with all singular the building improvements, ways, waters water-courses, right, liberties, privileges, herditaments, and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining, and the reversions and remainders, rent, issues and profits thereof; and all the estate, right, title, interest, property, claim and demand whatsoever of said parties of the first part, in law, equity or otherwise however, of, in and to the same and evey part thereof.

To Have And To Hold the said one hundred and twenty acer and twenty eight and six tenth perches of land with the hereditaments and premises hereby granted or mentioned, and intended so to be, with appurtenances. unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, to and for the only proper use behoof of the said party of the second part, his heirs and asign forever. except the Article of Agreement before mentioned dated December 26th 1888. until fully complied with.

And Philip Doverspike and Lousia A Doverspike his wife the said parties of the first part their heirs, executors, and administrators. do by these presents covenant, grant and agree to and with the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns. that they, the said parties of the first part the first part, their heirs, all and singular the hereditaments and premises here above described and granted or mentioned, and intended so to be, with the apputerances. unto the said party of the second part. his heirs and assigns, against them, the parties of the first part. and their heirs, and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming, or to claim the same or any part thereof; Except said Article of Agreement, aforesaid, until fully complied with.

Shall And Will Warrant And Forever Defend.

In Witness Wherof, The said parties of the first part have to these presents set their hand and seals. Dated the day and year first above written.

On the 9th day of December, Anne Domini 1893 before me Notary Republic in foresaid County came the above named Philip Doverspike and Louisa A Doverspike his wife and acknowledge the above Indenture to be their act and deed, and desire that the same might be recorded as such.

The said Louisa A. Doverspike being of full age, and by me examined seperate and apart from her said husband and the contents of said Indenture being first made fully know to her declared that she did, of her own free will and acord, sign and seal and as her act and deed, deliver the same without any services of compulsion of her said husband.
