This Indenture made the eleventh day of January eighteen hundred and seventy eight.

Between Peter Behm and Catherine Behm his wife heirs of John Bishop deceased and of the Township of Red Bank County of Armstrong State of Pennsylvania of the first part and Philip Doverspike (of L) of the Township County and State afore said of the second part.

Witnesseth:

That the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of four hundred Dollars lawful money of the United States of America, unto them well and truly paid by said party of the second part at or before the sealing an delivery of these presents, the receipts, of which is hereby acknowledged, Have granted, bargained, sold aliened, enfeoffed, released, conveyed and confirmed, and by these presents Do grant, bargain, sell alien, enfeoff, release, convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever, all the following descibed property, viz:

All that certain messurage ot tract of land situated in the Township of Red Bank County of Armstrong and State of Pennsylvania.

Bounded and described as follows viz:

Beginning at a stone, thence by lands of Emanuel Thomas, north eighty seven degrees east seventy three percels to a stone and eight tenths percels to a stone, thence by lands of John Shick, south fifty eight degrees east fourty five and eight tenths percel to a stone, thence by lands of same party, South of the first party. north eighty five degrees, west one hundred and six and three tenths percels to a Cherry, thence by what is called the Old Indiana Road, north twelve degrees west, nineteen percels to the place of the beginning.

Containing fourteen acers and seven percels stone measure, being part of the same premise of John Kunselman and Magdalena his wife by Indenture being dated 1855 for the consideration theirin mentioned did grant and convey unto Samuel Copenhaver and the said Samuel Copenhaver and his wife Peggy Ann Copenhaver did by Indenture dated the Seventh day of May 1867 for the consideration therein mentioned did grant convey confirm unto John Bishop the present grantor.

Together with all sigulars the said property, improvements, ways, water courses, rights, liberties, priviledges, hereditaments and appurtenances, whatsoever thereunto belonging, or in anywise appertaining and revisions and remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof, and also all estate rights title, interest property, claim and demand whatsoever of the said parties of the first part, in law, equity or otherwise however, of, in and to the same and every part thereof,

To Have And To Hold said piece or parcel of land situated in Red Bank Township County of Armstrong and State of Pennsylvania.

Containing fourteen acers and seven percels, hereditaments and premises hereby granted or mentioned, and intented so to be, with the appurtenance, unto said party of the second part, heirs and assigns Forever.

And Peter Behm and Catherine Behm his wife its legal heirs of John Bishop deceased the said parties of the first part, for their heirs, executors and administrators, do by these presents, convenant, grant agree to and with the said part of second part, his heirs and assigns, that they, the said parties of the first part, and their heirs, all and singular, the hereditiments and promises herein above described and granted or mentioned, and intented so to be, with appurtenances, unto said party of the second part his heirs and assigns, against them, the said parties of the first part, and their heirs, and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming, or to claim the same or any part thereof.

Shall And Will Warrant And Forever Defend.

In Witness Whereof. The said parties of the first part have to these presents set their hands and seals.

On the eleventh day of January 1878, before me a Justice of the Peace came the above named Peter Behm and Catherine Behm the legal heir of John Bishop wife, and acknowldge the above Deed to be their act and deed, and desire to have it recorded.

Said Catherine being of full age, and by me examined, separate and apart from her husband, and contents of said Deed being first made known to her declared that she signed, sealed and delivered said Deed of her own free will and accord, without coercion or compulsion of her said husband.
