This Indenture, Made the 2nd day of June A. D. one thousand eight hundred and fifty.

Between Wife Mary Doverspike. John Doverspike and Lydia Doverspike his wife Lewis Doverspike and Emelia his wife. Gabriel Miller and Catharine his wife formerly Catharine Doverspike. Daniel Doverspike. Philip Doverspike and Priscilla Doverspike his wife. William Doverspike and Lydia Doverspike his wife. Peter Doverspike, legal heirs and representatives of Lewis Doverspike Senior Deceased, formerly of Red Bank Township Clarion County Pennsylvania, of the first part and Henry Swonger of the Township County and State aforesaid of the second part.

Witnessth:

That the parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of seven hundred and sixty two dollars and seventy five cents lawful money of the United States to them in hand paid by the said Henry Swonger at and before the sealing an delivery of these presents, the receipts, of which is hereby acknowledged, Hath granted, bargained, sold aliened, enfeoffed, released, conveyed and confirmed, and by these presents Do grant, bargain, sell alien, enfeoff, release, convey and confirm unto the said Henry Swonger.

All that certain of land situated in Redbank Township Clarion County Pennsylvania.

Bounded and described as follows wit:

Beginning at the east corner on Red Bank Creek at a Black Walnut, thence down said Creek south fifty two degrees west ninty two percels to a post by lands of Wm Doverspike north twenty six degrees west thirty four percels to a White Walnut, thence nineteen degrees west fifty two percels to a stone, thence by lands of John Silvis north eighty nine degrees east fourty two and one half percels to a White Oak, thence south thirty degrees east eighty six percels to the place of the beginning.

Containing sixty acers and fourteen parcels.

Being part of a larger tract of land conveyed by the Commonwealth Pennsylvania to Lewis Doverspike Sr. by deed dated 24th of March 1829.

Enrolled in Patent Book Vol. 27 Page 17.

And part of a large tract conveyed to Ann Wickoff to Lewis Doverspike Sr. by deed dated 1st March 1801.

Recorded in Armstrong County in Office for Recording in Deed Book Vol. 7 Page 581 and 582.

Together with all sigulars, appurtenances, rights, priviledges, members of.

To Have And To Hold the said piece land.

Containing sixty acers and fourteen percels to the said Henry Swonger and his heirs and assigns Forerver.

And they the said parties of the first part doth convenant, grant agree to and with the said Henry Swonger his heirs and assigns, gainst them the said parties of the first part, and their heirs, and assigns, against them, the said parties of the first part, and their heirs, and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming, or to claim the same or to cause the same by though or under them.

Shall And Will Warrant And Forever Defend.

Received on the date of the above Indenture of and for aboved named Henry Swonger the sum of seven hundred and sixty two dollars and seventy five cents lawful money of the United States being consideration money above mentioned in full.

Before me a Justic of the Peace in and for the above named County of Clarion.

Personally apeared before me the above named wife Mary Doverspike, John Doverspike and Lydia Doverspike his wife. Lewis Doverspike and Emelia Doverspike his wife. Gabriel Miller and Catharine Miller his wife. Philip Doverspike and Priscilla Doverspike his wife. William Doverspike and Lydia Doverspike his wife, and Peter Doverspike, and acknowledged the above Indenture to be their act and deed and desire that the same should be recorded as such.

The said Emelia, Catharine, Priscilla, and Lydia, being of full age and by me examined seperate and apart and apart from their said husbands and the contents being first made fully know to them declares that they did of there own free will and accord sign seal and as their act and deed delivered the same without coercion or compulsion from their said husbands.
