This Indenture, Made the 2nd day of April A. D. one thousand eight hundred and fifty.

Between Mary Doverspike Lewis Doverspike and Emelia his wife. David Doverspike Gabriel Miller and Catharine his wife formerly Catharine Doverspike. John Doverspike and Lydia his wife. William Doverspike and Lydia Doverspike his wife. Henry Swonger and Elizabeth hs wife formerly Elizabeth Doverspike and Peter Doverspike, legal representatives of Lewis Doverspike Sr. (deceased) formerly of Red Bank Township Clarion County Pennsylvania, of the first part and Philip Doverspike (of Lewis) of the Township County and State aforesaid of the second part.

Witnessth:

That the parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and eighty eight dollars and fifty cents lawful money of the United States to them in hand paid by the said Philip Doverspike (of L) at and before the sealing an delivery of these presents, the receipts, of which is hereby acknowledged, Hath granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released, conveyed and confirmed, and by these presents Do grant, bargain, sell alien, enfeoff, release, convey and confirm unto the said Philip Doverspike (of L)

All that certain of land situated in Redbank Township Clarion County Pennsylvania.

Bounded and described as follows wit:

Beginning at a post on the south east corner, thence by lands of Gabriel Miller south seventy six degrees west one hundred acres thirty three percels to a post, thence by lands of John Silvis and Conrad Silvis north nine degrees west eighty eight percels to a post, thence by land of John Doverspike north eighty four degrees east sixty six percels to a White Oak, thence north seventy seven degrees east thirty three and a half percels to a White Oak, thence north eighty eight degrees east fifty one percels to a post of lands of John Mohney Jr. south two degrees west seventy percels to the place of the beginning.

Containing sixty six acers and fourty four percels.

Being part of a larger tract of land conveyed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to Lewis Doverspike (now deceased) by patent dated the 24 March 1827.

Enrolled in Patent Book Vol. 27 Page 17.

Him the said Lewis Doverspike who dying in testate, in his lifetime, being in possession of certain real estate of which the forgoing is part.

Together with all appurtenances, rights, priviledges, member of.

To Have And To Hold the said piece of land containing sixty six acers and fourty four percels to the said Philip Doverspike and his heirs and assigns Forever.

And they doth convenant, grant agree to and with the said Philip Doverspike (of L) his heirs and assigns, against them the said parties of the first part, and their heirs, and assigns, against them, the said parties of the first part, and their heirs, and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming, or to claim the same or to cause the same by though or under them.

Shall And Will Warrant And Forever Defend.
