This Indenture made the tenth day of November eighteen hundred and twenty seven.

Between Jacob Shick and Elizabeth his wife of the first part and Christian Shick of the second part all of Red Bank Township Armstrong County Pennsylvania.

Witnessth that the said Jacob Shick and Elizabeth his wife for and in consideration of the sum of five hundred and eighty seven dollars and fifty cents lawfull money to them in hand paid by Christian Shick the receipts whereof do hereby do acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell all the described tract of land with the appurtanances thereunto being bound as follows.

Beginning at a white Oak north sixty seven degrees east four and two tenths percels to a White Oak south thirty three degrees east thirty three percels to a White Oak west eleven percels to a White Oak south twenty eight degrees east one hundred and fourty percels to a stone north fifty degrees east fourty six percels to a post north twelve degrees west one hundred and eighty seven and one half percels to a stone west eighty six percels to a stone north fifty five percels to the beginning.

Containing seventy five acers eighty two percels and allowance of six percent for Road and it being part of two tracts of land granted by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to Timothy Pickering and others on Warrant No. hh1 conveyed to Adam Mauny by deed dated April 9th 1811 patented to Adam Mauny May 23 1811 conveyed by Adam Mauny by deed dated October 28th 1811 to William Huffman and part conveyed by Robert Brown sign by deed date February 8th 1811 by William Huffman by deed dated November 20th 1818 to Samuel Shaffer conveyed by Samuel Shaffer by deed dated February 20th to Jacob Shick being part of a tract of land warranted to Joseph Thomas by warrant No. 35--

Containing one thousand and seventy five acers.

To Have And To Hold the same and every part thereof to the said Christian Shick and his heirs and assigns Forever.

And the said Jacob Shick and Elzabeth his wife doth covenant and agree to with the said Christian Shick that they the said Jacob Shick and Elizabeth his wife their heirs executors and administrators to the said Christian Shick and to his heirs and executors and administrators and assigns that the above tract of land and evey part and parcel thereof they will warrant and forever defend against all and every other person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming, or to claim the same or any part thereof.

Armstrong County ss. before me a Justice of the Peace in and for said County personally came Jacob Shick and Elizabeth his wife and acknowledge the foregoing Indenture to be their act and deed, and desire that the same to be recorded as such.

She the said Elizabeth Shick being of full age, and by me examined, seperate and apart from her said husband, and the content of foregoing Indenture being made know to her declared that she signed, sealed and delivered said Indenture of her own free will and accord without coercion or compulsion of her husband.
