Soloman Daubenspeck


Mifflin Township Farmer died shortly after 10.oclock this morning at his home three miles east of the city on the Wooster Rd.

He had been failing in health for more than a year.

He was 85 years of age and besides his wife, is survived by three son's

Frank of this city, and Ira at home, and four daughters. Mrs Emma Snider of east of the city. Mrs Jacob Au and Mrs W. C. Davison of the city, and Mrs W. H. Hoover of Greenford

Funeral Arrangements have not been completed.

Native of County Dies Very Suddenly

Mrs Drusilla Daubenspeck

Age 88 years


A life long resident of Richland County were she was born May 27 1836 died this morning at 1:15 O' Clock at the Family home in Mifflin Township after an illness of only a few hours.

For the past sixty years she resided on the farm three miles east of the city where she died, and spent her entire life in that community.

She is survived by three sons.

Frank of Springfield Township

George of Madison Township

and Ira residing at home.

Also three daughters Mrs Emma Snyder, Mifflin Township, Mrs J. S. Au and Mrs W. C. Davison of this city. One sister Mrs George Zellercity

13 grandchildren and seven grand children

She was a life long member of the Lutheran Church

Funeral service will be held at the Family home Monday afternoon at 2: oclock with Rev Benjamin Hoover in charge.

Burial at Mansfield Cemetery.

Mrs Margret Emma Daubenspeck Snider 154 East First Street, died this morning at the Rosemount Rest Home at age 87 following a lingering illness.

She was the widow of Calvin C. Snider

Born in Mifflin Township April 15 1865

Mrs Snider lived her intire life in the area.

She was a member of the first Lutheran Church

Suvivors include a sister, Mrs Jacob Au, Ashland

a grandson Donald E Snider, with whom she made her home, and one great grandson.

Her husband and two sons Welton J. and George G. Snider preceeded her in death.

Friends may call at the J. H. Finfrock and Sons Funeral Home were services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday by Rev Carveth P. Mitchell, Pastor of the First Lutheran Church.

Burial will be in the Mansfield Cemetery.


Willam Chester Daubebspeck November 13 1913

William Chester Daubenspeck died of Bright's Desease Sunday Morning at 6:30 at his home on South Franklin Avenue after an illiness of eight years.

He is survived by his wife, one daughter Mrs Floyd Miles his parents, Mr and Mrs Soloman Daubenspeck living east of the city.

Four brothers and three sisters.

The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 at the home, conducted by pastor Dr. S. P. Long.

Effie Daubenspeck Au 1953

Effie Daubenspeck Au, 85 widow of Jacob Au, died this morning at Willcrest Rest Home following a long illness.

Mrs Au was born east of Mansfield December 25 1967.

The daughter of Soloman and Drusilla Henry Daubenspeck, and spent her intire life in this community.

She was a member of Grace Gospel Church and formerly resided at 266 South Main St.

Mrs Au was the last of her family and is survied by only nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be conducted at the J. H. Finefrock and Son Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Wenesday by Pastor M. W. Radcliffe, with burial in tHe Mansfield Cemetery.
