Dear Dickey Cousins,
This is the entry site for the "Dickey Cousins' Pages," our private pages. If you wish to enter you will need a password. I felt that this was necessary because of the privacy issues and concerns some of us may have. (See the Texas GenWeb Privacy Statement.) We are just starting out so there are only two pages (still "under construction") at this time. The first page contains the known descendants of John Priest Dickey and Mertie Bell Newcomer. There are most likely corrections and additions needed on this page so if you have any please email them to me. The following page contains an e-mail address list of family members. (Please e-mail me any additions or corrections. The names and e-mail addresses are listed as found on our mail list at OneList, if you want your listing deleted, changed, or added, please e-mail me and it will be done. By the way this list won't even show in Netscape Navigator, sorry.) In the future, hopefully, there will be added other features such as family stories, and pictures of our living family... family history in the making... and a bulletin board where you can make your own entries. If any of you send a Christmas letter summing up your personal family history for the year, please include me on your mailing list. It would be fun to post some of the stories and pictures here.
I have some great pictures of some of our past Dickey gatherings that I am hoping to get scanned and posted here soon. If you have any questions, suggestions, or contributions please, please e-mail me. Sharing with you and hearing from you is what makes the effort worth it.
