Our branch of the Salley Family began with the marriage of:Joseph Andrew Davidson
and
Mary Elizabeth Salley
One of the children from this marriage was my paternal grandfather, Bernice "Pug" Samuel Davidson, who was born October 27th, 1887 in Navarro County, Texas.
"Pug" Davidson married Eula Tennie Wright June 18th, 1916 in Stephens County, Oklahoma. Together they had eight children; the oldest was my father, Bernice (Bernace) Samuel Davidson, Jr.
