Returning from a walk in the garden, He sank on the porch as if
fatigued. He was assisted into the house when the end came a few
minutes afterward without scarcely a struggle.
Deceased was born in Pawlett,Somersetshire, England,
and would have been eighty years old the 11th of next May.
He married Jane Watts of Car�diff, Glenmorganshire, England, in 1853.
Seven children were born to them, five of whom sur�vive him.
The remains were taken to Ogden for burial' on Thursday and were laid
to rest beside his wife, who had preceded him to the great beyond by
many years. Quite a number went to the ceme�tery, and the floral
offerings were beautiful.
