Chambers Y-DNA Project Intro

The Chambers DNA Surname Project began in October of 2002.  Reflected below are the results and some conclusions that can be made so far, however, some test results are still pending.  All DNA participants should read the information at DNA 101 which will help them gain a better insight on how to interrupt these results.  Participants with results in can enter their alleles into this Y-STR site and obtain information on where others in Europe have the same alleles.  I have also included many other useful sites for interpreting the results on my 'DNA Project Info' which can be accessed by using the button at the top of this page.  Chambers DNA testing is being performed by FamilyTreeDNA.com

Reflected in the table below are the test results received so far.  The results can also be viewed on this page Chambers FamilyTreeDNA Project where participants results are posted automatically. 

Only results with earliest ancestor are posted below, pedigrees of the direct line are most beneficial to the project.   Most of the participate have provided their pedigrees which includes their earliest known ancestor.  To view the participants' ancestry, click on the earliest ancestor's name.  Participants with pending results can be view on this page Participants with Results Pending  

Some of the participants have provided me authorization to provide contact information, to contact them click on the reseacher's name .

Participants have been placed in a group based on there test results.  Matching results or closely matching results were placed in the same group.  If the participant has no match or close match, they were not placed in a group.
