HISTORY

Read "The Diary of Elizabeth Nash (Smith)" for a picture of
the social life of a 22-year-old woman in a small town in Texas in 1901.

Further insight into the life of Elizabeth Nash is found in this small collection of letters from her admirers and her husband.

William V. Lucas (1835-1921) and his son, Aaron Briney Lucas (1858-1945), left a pair of documents describing their lives and ancestries from the 1700s to the 1930's.
