All photographs in this album are of members of my Dad's family.  The members of the family include:
Father - Joseph Marion Cheek (known and identified in the pictures as Joseph)
Mother - Cora Anna Hodges Cheek (known and identified in the pictures as Anna)
Brother - James Edmon Cheek (originally named Edmon Joeberry and know as Edmon)
Sister - Cleeta Bell Cheek (later known as Cleta)
Sister - Rubye Monette Cheek (later known as Ruby)

Both sisters modernized the spelling of their names, but to stick with tradition I will indentify them in the pictures as Cleeta & Rubye.

As far as I know all the pictures were taken in or around Mangum, Greer Co. OK. I assume that most of the farm pictures were taken on the family farm which was a few miles NE of Mangum. The pictures are arranged in quasi-chronological order. The dates of the pictures are approximate and based on my best guess of how old Dad and his sisters appear to be, except for the first picture, Dad's baby picture, which is dated 1911. This is also the only picture for which I have any indication who the photographer was. It was taken at the Yoder Studio in Mangum, which I believe was operated by one of Dad's aunts.
