Stories about the Day Family Line

Our primary source of information about the Dey/Day family line is from a genealogical record printed in 1910 by the children of James Dey and Isabella (Cruickshank) Dey. It is very complete in it recording of the actual lineage, and it also includes an interesting narrative which I am posting here. I have excluded the lineage information since it is essentially duplicated by the genealogy I have already posted (access this information from the home page).
