Other Marriages/ Notes	From: hensleyj@sbcglobal.net Minnie Lee was d/o James K (or R) P Downing (ca 1845 - ??)  & Lucy Ann Allen (Oct 29, 1845 Al - April 10, 1883 Guadalupe Co, Tx (Both are buried in Guadalupe Co @ Brushy Creek Cemetery (no dates on his head stone).    Minnie Lee was b) in Tx ca 1874  Lucy Ann Allen's parents were John R Allen & his 1st wife Elizabeth Allen(?)  She is listed with John R and his 2nd wife, Jane Allen(?) on 1850 & 1860 Chambers Co, Al census.  The Downings and some of this Allen family were in Guadalupe Co on the 1880 census, pg 217.  Namely: George E Allen & Wade Allen (my ancestor)-half brothers to Lucy Ann, and they both ended up in Collin Co, Tx  I always like to find ANY information on the Allen's.  It's been such a hard line to trace.
