Ben Bowen Stats: Born in Chula Vista California.U.S.A., Ben Bowen is the middle child
of five boys born into a Marine military family. The Family moved often
from place to place but stayed mostly in Texas & California but did
stints in North Carolina, South Carolina & New Jersey which where brother
number 5 (Sean) was born.Sean is therfore the only "Yankee" in
the group and he still pulls for the New York Yankee baseball club.
Other interesting(?) Ben Bowen facts: Ben's middle name "Leighton" can be traced back to his delivering doctor. Dr. Benjamin Layton...It seems his mother Ruth, woozy and under the influence of pain killers and possibly with a slight "crush" on the handsome doctor Layton named him after the doctor because he was the first delivery for young doctor Ben and the first person she saw after the delivery..She altered the spelling so that no one would be the wiser ;). Most Experts agree that the middle born child inherits the highest IQ level,the thickest hair and most of the common sense in any family. Ben's favorite color is Red. Ben's suggested list of movies include but are not limited to;

Ben's favorite musical artists are Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, John Lennon , Nick Cave and the bad seeds, Janes' Addiction, U-2 Ben's favorite sports are Golf ,Golf and Golf. Ben's favorite TV shows are/were : The Simpsons, Green Acres, The Daily show. Ben's favorite book: One hundred years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. & Labyrinths or really anything by Jorge Luis Borges. Favorite Comics: Marvel's Fantastic Four,Silver Surfer, Thor, Sub-Mariner and Dr. Strange. Ben's favorite food : All beef chili cheese dogs with mustard & onions. Major Accomplishments:
Surviving childhood with Rick, Greg and Norman as brothers. Sean wasn't a problem because I could always beat him up....except for now of course. Quitting my job of 15 years in 1996 and becoming self un-employed.
