Know all men by those present that we the undersigned heirs
of James
T. Carrico deceased for and in consideration of the thoughtful services
rendered heretofore to the family of James T. Carrico dec'd by a negroe
Man named Isaac belonging to his Estate and for the consideration that
James T. Carrico in his life time expressed a wish that said Isaac
should
be set free and emancipated at the death of Joanna Carrico the Widow of
said James T. Carrico. We do therefore relinquish all claim to said
Isaac
after the death of said Joanna Carrico and consent that he may go free
so soon as she the said Joanna may depart this life. Witness our hands
and seals this 28th October 1828.
