Even a local chipmonk tries to warn us, but we failed to listen. The plan was for Ted to meet the rest of the group at the Buck Creek airport. After walking over two miles, Debra and Bob return to the trail head to discover that it is 8 miles to the airstrip. This resulted in much confusion as Ted wondered why everyone didn't show up after an hour. It took us almost 5 hours to complete the hike.
