Anne organized a Sunday
brunch for our family on the first weekend of
October.
Paul displays his
artwork. We all decorated a ceramic fish as a place
setting marker. The real fish in the tank behind look
with approval at Paul's work.

Anne and Debra have a
pumpkin balancing contest. Anne struggles to keep it
balanced -- maybe it's the result of a rounded
head?
Debra seems to have
little difficulty with the balancing act.
With Halloween just a few
weeks away, the Great Pumpkin smiles a toothy
grin.
Debra carves a scary
witch on her pumpkin. But, alas, by Halloween, her
pumpkin fell prey to pumpkin flesh-eating bacteria.
The scary face was gone.

Bob converted several
digital photos into pumpkin patterns. On the left is
Rhys; on the right is Thomas, Paul and Anne.
Valorie's pumpkin grins with a typical scary
smile.

Amy's children came
dressed as a princess and, what is it, a bear? Has
anyone seen a bear with ears like that?
Dave and his klan. Who do
you think is more dressed for Halloween, the adults
or the kids?
This costume gets the
grand prize for being the most original!
Austin is ready to hit
the streets with his pumpkin costume. Wonder if he
filled his witches pot with goods?
Kaylie poses in her blue
fairy costume. The faint shine around her mouth leads
me to believe she was sneaking a few early
treats!
Anticipation.
The "Brits Angel" tastes
a treat! Or, is she just camera shy?
Kaylie looks dazed after
eating her Halloween candy.
Austin pretends that he
really didn't have any candy. I'm sure that the
smudge under his lower lip is the result of eating
his vegetables at dinner.
Finding no candy left,
Andy exclaims, "Where's mine?" Hey Andy, ever heard
the story of the ant and the grasshopper?
