We have been helping Ted
pack up his house in Issaquah and move to his new
house in Buckley, Washington. Here what the house
looks like from the street.
After helping Ted move
for most of the day, we all met at the Lake
Washington Roaster and Ale house in Seattle for my
birthday dinner.
While waiting for Debra
and Ted to arrive, we posed for a group photo.
A cool, delicious, Fat
Tire Ale...
After dinner, we all met
at Paul and Tara's house for dessert. Bob admires the
5 by 3 candles, pondering their
significance...
Another moment of
contemplation...
At home, Bob poses with
the doggie salt-and-pepper shakers (a gift from
Tara), along with the very happy Rhys and
Mollie.

Enjoy the Christmas
lights, courtesy of the Lake Wilderness Country Club
community. This one is a house at the entrance to the
community.
This house had wonderful
lights hanging from the trees in front of the house.
Unfortunately, the photograph is over-exposed for the
lights so it is difficult to see how pretty the
hanging lights were.
This house went wild with
displays, lights on the house, and, of course, a star
shining from the 50-foot fir tree!
This house had a pretty
tree in front with lines of multi-colored
lights.
At the exit to the
community was this house with a riot of
lights.
Compared to the other
houses, our house is poorly decorated, although you
can just see our pretty tree in the living room
window.
Pretty tree with presents
awaiting to be opened on Christmas eve.
Rhys gets a head start
and opens a surprise gift from Anne.
Anne tries out her new
digital camera.

After a few too many
Holiday nogs, does Bob even know that he has a duck
on his head?
Tara takes her turn
playing Santa.
Ted opens a gift and
finds a watch that is radio-controlled. Now he won't
need to worry about resetting his watch for day-light
savings time.
Valorie is adorned with
pretty ribbons.
We had Christmas day at
the Herbfarm restaurant. Again the tree is pretty
with its decorations and an abundance of
presents.
Ron and Carrie served a
marvelous dinner. Here is the beautifully-set
table.
New Year's eve is
traditionally spent at the cabin. This year we had
about three inches of snow. Here is what the cabin
looks like after dark.

The group enjoys
conversation in the "great room" by the warm
fire.

Paul Herrick has a unique
method for making a point during one of his
conversations.
