I received this card from Ron on Monday, October 7. On the back it read, "Bob Zimmerman took to wine tasting with gusto. As his weight swelled, he became more and more jocular and was able to learn German drinking songs with ease.
He is captured here in a rare and candid moment of reflection and contemplation on a visit to the old Italian Swiss Colony operation in Asti, California on a sunny September day in 1969.
