Joel Mason Bertram

JOEL MASON BERTRAM was born on July 18, 1869, in Sunnybrook, Wayne County, Kentucky, to Jesse A. Bertram and Mariah H. Matthews Manning. He married Sarah Matilda McFarland on September 22, 1889, and worked as a mail carrier. Joel died on February 21, 1962, in Casey County, Kentucky.

Sarah was born on February 27, 1873, to William A. McFarland (b. 10/14/1840 - 10/11/1914) and Mary E. Stephens (02/04/1846 - 01/10/1922). She died on April 14, 1955, in Casey County, Kentucky.

Joel's second wife was Nannie Atwood. She was born on April 18, 1867, and died on November 24, 1957.

All three are buried in the Peavy Cemetery in Casey County, Kentucky.
