The purpose of this website is not just to display my own family history, but also that of the wider Bagnall lineage and some of the many other surnames that are linked to it. The site is constantly being added to and updated.
I wish to thank everyone who has contributed to this website, and in particular my cousins Barry Kelly and Nita Pearson, who are both constantly sending me new information. I also wish to thank my cousin Richard Bagnall who's help and encouragement made this website possible.
Nita and I are currently developing a Blog entitled 1929 a Snapshot in Time. It concerns a diary that was kept by Nita's mother Irene who was at the time a 13 year old girl living in West Bar, Sheffield.

Before you leave the site, Please take a few moments to read the following newspaper article. It was published in the Northern Echo, and it concerns my grandaughter Jemima who was diagnosed with leukaemia on 26th January 2006. It may help to restore your faith in human nature!
