I am searching for the parents/family of SARAH AMELIA PERKINS b. 1836 in MAGOFFIN/MORGAN COUNTY. She was the mother of MEREDITH D. PERKINS b. 1854 in same County. He married MATILDA COTTON; they were the parents of SARAH EMILY PERKINS THOMPSON b. 1876; who was my grandmother.Cissy
My brick wall is the ancestry of Edward Perkins, born in Pennsylvania 3 Sept 1789 and died in Benton County, Iowa in 1868. He had many siblings (listed below), most of whom were Married in Washington county, Ohio. This family is believed to be the offspring of Anthony and Anne (Oatley) Perkins who were found in Pennsylvania in the 1790 Census.

My other brick wall g grandfather Marion Perkins b. 1853 in TX. Smith
Co. ? m Sarah Margaret Miller 16 Mar. 1872 in Wilson Co. TX. only known
child : Joah "Joe" Greene b 22 Jan 1869 in TX. I have not been able to
find any record on Marion except for census and marriage. Last census he
was on was 1870 Wilson Co., TX. The 1880 census of Wise Co., TX. shows
Sarah and Joah living with her sister and brother in law

He married Renanna Newman Sherrill on 8 Feb. 1837. Children of this marriage were: William M., Margaret E.,Andrew Mason, Julia Emeline, Mary Jane, Syrena L., Lee or Leroy and Eliza Perkins.
